SO how do you choose an idea to pursue?

In my previous post I talked about how I launched a new business and now was writing a new post to do a backlink to that website, you know for SEO and such… Well, a lot of people read that, must be the hashtags, so I wanted to continue with the theme. Also today is a great day and a big milestone as my extra virgin olive oil brand Zeytin, won a Silver Medal in NYIOOC, which is essentially the Oscars for olive oil quality. There are a lot of competitions out there but none bigger than this!

Now all that to say, how do you grow from “I have no idea what to do” to “boy I won a medal” in under a year? It’s actually pretty simple, despite whatever everyone or “experts” tell you. All you need to do is have a two-step process, here it is:

  • Stop chasing that billion $ idea

Yes, stop thinking about that perfect moneymaker, that breakthrough… not everyone will launch an Apple, Uber, AirBnb, Tesla, eBay, etc… You need to rationalize your journey and quite literally “get a grip”

Now that our feet are grounded, the rest is easy.

  • Find what gives you the chills, what makes you really happy and see what you can improve. Essentially “find what’s already done, but DO IT BETTER!”

Not always easy, but trust me it’s the best foot forward. It got me and many others going. Don’t think of this as something small, not cool, this that… Jump on it, work tirelessly, DO IT BETTER… The worst thing that can happen is that you’ll turn into a much more experienced and courageous person for the next idea.

Let’s recap: Be realistic, choose your everyday passion, do it better, repeat

Oh also, that discount code on Zeytin for fellow WordPress people are still valid.

Code “WordPress”

Take care!
